1. Independence Health System Alerts! is a service offered to employees only. The system sends timely notifications to employees regarding system outages, office closures, or adverse conditions at any of the hospitals such as mass casualties or active shooter.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the phone number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up again through the link on the Independence Health System intranet site.
3. Additionally, if your employment is terminated, you will be automatically removed from the system.
